Stromsburg City Council Meetings

City of Stromsburg City Council Meetings are the 2nd & 4th Mondays of the month starting at 5:35 p.m. located at the City Office 122 East 3rd St. Open to the public.

Siren Information

A test occurs every Monday noon.
Types of sirens include: Fire & Rescue – wailing tone / Tornado – straight tone.

Cat & Dog licensing

Cat & Dog licensing due by May 1st, annually

Please bring the following to license your dog or cat:

Proof from your veterinarian that the dog or cat is current on its rabies vaccination.

A picture of the dog or cat being licensed. If you have more than one pet please provide separate pictures of each.

ONLY FOR DOGS – Certificate of Insurance showing you have at least $300,000 of liability coverage on your home owner’s or renter’s policy.

$6.25 for each license. Licenses are due by May 1st of each year. Any animal licensed after the 10 day grace period, May 10th, will be charged an additional $10 late fee for animal.

The annual Swedish Festival is in June.
