Avenue of Flags
The Stromsburg Veterans Avenue of Flags is a memorial to all men and women who are and have served in the Armed Forces of our nation. Without the unselfish giving of time from their lives our wonderful, free country that we all enjoy would not be what it is today.
To honor a veteran of your choice please fill out the informational form at the link below and send to one of the addresses listed on the form. The requested donation is $30.00 for each flag.
This is a way of saying “Thank you” and God Bless.
Special Thanks
To the Stromsburg Boy Scout Troop for assembling the flags.
To the City of Stromsburg Public Works employees for installing the flags.
To Bruce Wagner of Wagner Decorating in York, Nebraska. Bruce spearheaded the York Veterans Avenue of Flags with a goal of the project spreading to surrounding towns. His help and advice was immeasurable.
To the men and women who have served and are serving in our armed forces helping to keep this country free and to help bring the freedom that we know to others in the world that are less fortunate than we are.
To all of the contributors who made this project possible.
