Stromsburg City Council Meetings
City of Stromsburg City Council Meetings are the 2nd & 4th Mondays of the month starting at 5:35 p.m. located at the City Office 122 East 3rd St. Open to the public.
A test occurs every Monday noon.
Types of sirens include: Fire & Rescue - wailing tone / Tornado - straight tone.
Cat & Dog licensing
Cat & Dog licensing due by May 1st, annually
Please bring the following to license your dog or cat:
Proof from your veternarian that the dog or cat is current on its rabies vaccination.
A picture of the dog or cat being licensed. If you have more than one pet please provide separate pictures of each.
ONLY FOR DOGS - Certificate of Insurance showing you have at least $300,000 of liability coverage on your home owner's or renter's policy.
$6.25 for each license. Licenses are due by May 1st of each year. Any animal licensed after the 10 day grace period, May 10th, will be charged an additional $10 late fee for animal.
The annual Swedish Festival is in June.

Only branches, grass clippings, leaves and garden waste are accepted
The City Recycling Trailer is available at the city garage corner of 3rd & Exchange Street.
